Destiny 2 had an explosive week with a new Exotic mission, Presage, bringing Dead Man’s Tale to the game. But as always, there are more Exotics to be had if you visit everyone’s favorite snake-faced weekend Exotic vendor, Xur, and gear up.
Head to the EDZ, to the Winding Cove area, to find Xur this week. For his weapon, Xur is offering Crimson. Hunters can pick up the ST0MP-EE5 leg armor; for Titans, there’s the Ursa Furiosa gauntlets; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Chromatic Fire chest armor.
Xur Location
Spawn in at the Winding Cove transmat zone and hop on your sparrow. Head north toward the edge of the area, which is marked by high cliffs. High above the rest of the area is a crashed Fallen ship; make your way up to it, either by finding the cave opening in the cliff wall to the left of the highway overpass or by climbing up on the right side. You’ll find Xur waiting for you beside the crashed ship.
Xur Exotic Items
If you don’t already have Crimson in your collection, this is a great opportunity to add it. Xur’s weapon this week is a great gun to take into the Crucible, especially as you’re learning the ropes–it’s a hand cannon that fires like a pulse rifle and heals you on kills. If you’re not a fan of his other options, Xur also sells an Exotic engram that will decrypt into an Exotic you don’t already own. He also has the new Xenology Quest, which rewards an Exotic Cipher you can use to purchase Exotics from either Xur or the Tower’s Monument to Lost Lights. The quest requires you to either complete Strikes or win matches in Gambit and the Crucible.

Crimson (Hand Cannon)

Crimson is one of those great workhorse weapons that’s always a solid backup pick for PvE and the Crucible. The hand cannon hits hard, firing three-round bursts rather than the usual single shot. The more you kill, though, the more unstoppable you become when using Crimson. Kills with the gun heal you, while precision kills refill the magazine. If you need a little boost to keep you in more fights in the Crucible or even in tough PvE activities, Crimson can help.
ST0MP-EE5 (Hunter)

If you don’t have ST0MP-EE5, you should get it. These boots are extremely helpful for Hunters who are trying to get along in tough platforming activities, or who need a speed a jumping boost in general. “Stompees” increase your sprint speed, jump height, and slide distance, so Hunters who already like that speedy, high Mobility life should check them out for general use. But at the very least, you’re going to want these boots in your Vault for when the jumping gets tough in raids and similar scenarios.

Ursa Furiosa (Titan)

The Titan Sentinel Shield Super can do a lot of damage, but it’s also pretty great for defending against enemies as well. Ursa Furiosa powers up those defensive capabilities, allowing you to move faster while guarding using the Super. Any damage you block then gets converted back into Super energy when your Super ends, allowing you to get your next Shield more quickly.

Chromatic Fire (Warlock)

A great PvE Exotic, Chromatic Fire makes clearing out hordes of enemies a little easier. Every precision kill you land with your Kinetic weapon while wearing the Exotic turns the enemy you just dropped into a bomb. They explode with elemental damage that’s the same as your subclass, so firing your guns into a crowd of enemies can devastate them pretty quickly. Pair Chromatic Fire with other explosive weapons and you can do a lot of damage very quickly.
