Not long after the big 15.40 update for Fortnite arrived, developer Epic Games is patching the battle royale game again on Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch.
A “maintenance patch” is rolling out now that addresses party matchmaking issues for Creative mode on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Epic released a similar patch a day earlier on PS4, PS5, and PC.
“You will be prompted to download the patch at the end of your match or when launching the game. No server downtime will be required,” Epic said on the Fortnite Status page.

The previously released 15.40 update for Fortnite brought back the fan-favorite Flint-Knock pistol, while it also introduced new features on PC. This update also set the stage of the next limited-time modes, Air Royale and Floor is Lava, while there should now be more exotics in stock to acquire.
